Lisa Fleischer started as a faculty member at the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie Mellon University this fall. Prior to this, she was on the faculty in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University. Concurrent with this, she spent semesters on leave at the Fields Institute in Toronto, Canada, and the Center for Operations Research and Econometrics in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. She received a PhD in operations research from Cornell University in 1997.
