BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

 

 

Martin Skutella

 

 

Martin Skutella received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from TU Berlin in 1998 under the supervision of Rolf Moehring.  He spent one year at the Center for Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE) in Belgium and afterwards half a year at the Forschungsinstitut fuer Diskrete Mathematik in Bonn before returning to Berlin. His main research interests lie in the area of Combinatorial Optimization, in particular in Scheduling and Network Flows. He is a visiting Faculty of the MIT Sloan School for the fall term 2002.
