BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

 

 

Dr. Adam Kalai

                                   

 

Dr. Kalai serves as NSF Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at MIT, hosted by Santosh Vempala. He received his Bachelors in Computer Science from Harvard in 1996, and his PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2001.

 

His research work is in randomized algorithms, machine learning, and has interests in game theory and 3D displays. He has received several awards including the IBM Distinguished Graduate Fellowship (1999-2001), and NSF Graduate Fellowship (1996-1999).
