BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Professor Yinyu Ye

Professor Ye currently serves as the Henry B. Tippie Research Professor in the Department of Management Sciences and Applied Mathematical and Computational Sciences at the University of Iowa. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering-Economic Systems with minor in Operations Research from Stanford University. He is the Author of over 100 publications, Thesis Title: "Interior Algorithms for Linear, Quadratic and Linearly Constrained Convex Programming,'' Thesis Advisor Committee (in alphabetic order): Sam Chiu, George Dantzig, David Luenberger, Edison Tse.

His research includes mathematical programming, optimization algorithm design and analysis, computational complexity, and applications of operations research.
