BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Professor Thanasis Ziliaskopoulos

Thanasis Ziliaskopoulos is Associate Professor of Transportation at Northwestern University. He received his Ph.D in Civil Engineering (Transportation) from the University of Texas at Austin and his MS in Industrial Engineering (Operations Research) from the same university. His research interests include modeling, optimization and control of traffic and transportation systems with special emphasis to real-time systems under uncertain and dynamic demand. He is Associate Editor of Transportation Science and Chair of the Network Equilibrium Subcommittee of TRB.
