BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

 

 

Dr. Özlem Ergun

                                   

 

Dr. Özlem Ergun is an assistant professor at the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, at Georgia Institute of Technology. She received a B.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University in 1996 and her Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2001. Dr. Ergun's research in the general area of discrete optimization, focuses on local search and algorithmic game theory techniques for design and management of large scale logistics and communications networks. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in optimization and logistics. Dr. Ergun was awarded the NSF Career Award in 2003.
