BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Kourosh Eshghi
Kourosh Eshghi is an Associate Professor in the Industrial Engineering
Department at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. He
received his Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of
Toronto in 1997 and his MS in Industrial Engineering from Sharif
University of Technology. His research interests include graph
theory, integer programming and combinatorial optimization. He
has been a recipient ofan “Excellence in Teaching Award” and
also an “Excellence in Research Award” from the Sharif
University of Technology. Dr. Eshghi is a member of an executive
committee of Iranian Operations Research Society. He is the author
of 2 books and over 30 journal papers. He has graduated 2 Ph.D.
students and 20 Masters as of August 2005. He is currently a Visiting
Scientist at the ORC for the academic year 2005-6.
