Spring 2006 Seminar Series

Ioana Popescu is Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences at INSEAD. She holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research and Applied Mathematics from M.I.T., and a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Wellesley College.

 

Her current research focuses on pricing and revenue management, and more broadly in the area of stochastic and dynamic decision making. Her work on revenue management for media broadcasting was a finalist in the 2005 Junior Faculty Paper Competition at INFORMS. In 2003, she won the first prize in the same competition for research on moment problems for special distribution classes. She has developed the first business course on Dynamic Pricing and Revenue Management for MBAs and Executives.
