Eitan Bachmat is a senior lecturer at the computer science department
at Ben-Gurion U. His research focuses on performance analysis,
mostly of storage systems and on applied probability. Eitan Received
his Bachelor and Masters degrees in Mathematics from Hebrew U.
and his Ph.D (1994) in Mathematics from M.I.T. After being a Tamarkin
Post-Doctoral fellow at Brown U. he joined the computer science
department at BGU. In addition to his academic activities Eitan
has served as a consultant for several companies in the storage
industry and is listed as an inventor on 29 approved U.S. patents.
