Vivek Farias is an Assistant Professor at MIT Sloan affiliated with the OM group and the ORC. Vivek received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the Information Systems Laboratory at Stanford University in 2007 where he was a School of Engineering Fellow. He is a recipient of an Informs MSOM Best Student Paper Prize (2006). In addition to academia, Vivek is actively involved in consulting roles in the finance industry.
