BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Assaf Zeevi
Assaf Zeevi is the Gantcher Associate Professor of Business at
the Graduate School of Business, Columbia University. His research
focuses on stochastic modeling and statistics, and their applications
in various problem areas including service operations, revenue
management, financial engineering, and applied probability.
Assaf
received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. (1997) from the Technion, in Israel,
and subsequently his Ph.D. (2001) from Stanford University. In
2001 he joined the faculty of the Business School at Columbia University.
Assaf is a recipient of a CAREER Award from the National Science
Foundation, and the Graduate School of Business Dean's award for
teaching excellence. He is a council member of the Applied Probability
Society, and serves on the editorial boards of Mathematics of Operations
Research, M&SOM, and Operations Research.
