BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Chris P. Lee

Chris Lee is an Assistant Professor of Operations and Information Management at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and holds a PhD in Computational & Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University. His research has focused on large-scale/computational models for operational, economic and policy issues arising in health care. His research projects have included studies of the efficacy of the end-stage renal disease program as well as health care spending and disparity in the United States. Chris is a co-investigator of a multi-million dollar Department of Defense grant to study resource sharing and scheduling in the context of proton therapy for cancer treatment and is currently working with the $150 million Roberts Proton Center (the world's largest proton therapy center) to develop effective treatment protocols. At Wharton, Chris teaches MBA courses on productivity and quality management as well as the operations management of health care.
