Izak Duenyas is John Psarouthakis Professor of Manufacturing Management and Professor and Area Chair of Operations and Management Science at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He also holds an appointment as a professor of industrial and operations engineering. He is interested in supply chain management, sourcing, capacity and inventory planning. Duenyas serves as the Area Editor for the Manufacturing, Service and Supply Operations Area of Operations Research. He has served as the president of MSOM and been awarded the MSOM Distinguished Service Award. He has done consulting/training at numerous companies including Schlumberger, Merck, Teva, Cummins, Tetra Pak, Siemens, and others. He has been awarded the Ross school researcher of the year award. He also been  awarded the EMBA teaching award by the EMBA students at the Ross School three times.
