BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Jon Lee

Jon is a Professor of Operations Research in the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan. Previously, he held a full-time position at IBM's T.J. Watson Research Center, while he was a part-time faculty member at New York University. Before that, Jon held faculty positions at the University of Kentucky, and Yale University. Jon is Chair of the INFORMS Optimization Society, and he has been Chair of the Executive Committee of the Mathematical Optimization Society. Jon won the INFORMS Computing Society Prize in 2010, he is author of over 90 publications, he was the founding Managing Editor of the journal Discrete Optimization, and he is author of "A First Course in Combinatorial Optimization" (Cambridge University Press).
