Sham Kakade is a member of Microsoft Research New England, in Cambridge, MA. Previously, he was an associate professor at the Department of Statistics University of Pennsylvania, and an assistant professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago. He did postdoc in the Computer and Information Science department at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a PhD from the Gatsby Unit in University College London. Before Gatsby, he was an undergraduate at Caltech where he did a BS in physics.
