BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Erol Peköz

Professor Peköz received degrees in Operations Research from Cornell University and the University of California, Berkeley. His research in applied probability and statistics covers topics such as rare events, Stein's method, queueing theory and statistical methods for health care data. He also serves on the staff of the Center for Organization, Leadership and Management Research at the Veterans Health Administration in Boston and teaches in the School of Management at Boston University and occasionally in the Harvard University Statistics Department.
