Drazen Prelec is the Digital Equipment Corp. Leaders for Global Operations Professor of Management, Management Science and Economics at the Sloan School of Management. He received his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology and AB in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University. Prior to joining MIT, he was Assistant Professor of Managerial Economics at the Harvard Business School. Prelec’s research interests include decision theory, consumer behavior, marketing research, collective prediction mechanisms, behavioral economics and neuroeconomics. His work has been recognized by numerous fellowships and awards, including those from the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation, and the Harvard Society of Fellows.
