Ali Aouad is a PhD candidate in the Operations Research Center at MIT. Before joining MIT, he earned a BS and an MS degree in Applied Mathematics from the Ecole Polytechnique (Paris). His research focuses on the design and the performance analysis of scalable and provably near-optimal algorithmic solutions to key problems in revenue management and data-driven estimation, involving complex customer choice behaviors. Ali is also a co-founder of a financial services startup, S&A, which develops and implements systematic trading strategies to support and fund socially beneficial projects.
