Graduates of the MIT OR program are in high demand, both in the
US and abroad. Over the past two decades, fifty percent of the
graduates of our doctoral program have accepted faculty positions;
thirty percent of have accepted positions in research laboratories;
and twenty percent have pursued opportunities in industry. For

This is a listing of ORC students on the job market listing
their research interests and contact information.
The Graduate Directory is a booklet of ORC student resumes that is compiled each year and is circulated to universities and private companies. The primary focus of this effort is on permanent job placement; however, students have also had success in finding summer jobs through this vehicle. Employers who are interested in hiring a student can contact the student directly.
The Careers Office provides counseling, workshops, lectures and panels, employer recruiting, job development, preprofessional advising, alumni relations, internships and other opportunities for experiential learning, self-assessment and career research. The Career Office is there to advise and assist students about career choice and decision-making, job opportunities, and academic programs and internships that will enhance their qualifications.
The INFORMS Employment Services provides useful information to students looking for both permanent or temporary employment.
