Description: My general research interests lie in understanding the effects of strategic behavior among competing firms and individuals in various application domains. Most of my current research efforts are focused on studying the role of communication among individuals embedded in a social network, as a means to spread information and influence the undertaking of subsequent actions, such as purchase decision. On a technical level, my research uses tools from game theory, optimization and applied probability.
I am interested in an academic position where I can pursue further my research agenda and teach MBA and PhD level classes. |

Description: The main focus of my research is providing new tools for understanding and computing decisions in complex operational settings. I am interested in both methodological aspects (general dynamic optimization under uncertainty, with an emphasis on robust and adaptive models, connections with risk and utility theory, statistics and machine learning), as well as applications: inventory and supply chain management, single and multi-product dynamic pricing, and portfolio optimization. I am looking for an academic position in which I can pursue and enhance my research agenda, as well as teach undergraduate, doctoral or MBA classes on the methodology and applications of management science. |

Finally, I have carried out applied and interdisciplinary research in the domain of energy, supply chain, and biostatistics/neuroscience. I am looking for an academic position where I can conduct research in the above areas, and teach related courses to undergrads, PhD students and MBAs. |
