The 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Operations Research Center could not have happened without the generous support of many people.  Virtually all of the current ORC students have volunteered their time and creative energies to this effort, and for that we thank them sincerely.  The wonderful ORC professional staff -- Paulette, Laura and Veronica - have put in many hours in planning and preparation:  Thank you all!

The expenses associated with such a celebration are also major factors in its planning.  We are able to keep registration fees very low because of the generous financial support of three MIT units, one private company and several MIT ORC-affiliated faculty members. 

The three MIT units are the Office of the Vice President for Research, reporting to the Provost's Office; the Dean's Office of the Sloan School of Management and the Dean's Office of the School of Engineering .

The private company is Analytics Operations Engineering, Inc.
