• The Center for Cancer Research, reporting to the Dean, School of Science, has been renamed the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research.
• The Center for Coordination Science, reporting to the Dean, Sloan School of Management, has been renamed the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence.

• iCampus, formerly reporting to the Dean, School of Engineering, has been deleted from the reporting list.
• The Industrial Performance Center and MIT-Portugal Program, both reporting to the Dean, School of Engineering, have been added to the reporting list.
• The MIT Leadership Center, reporting to the Dean, Sloan School of Management, has been added to the reporting list.

Name and Title Changes

• The Dean for Graduate Education, formerly the Dean for Graduate Students, was retitled effective March 31, 2008. The Office of the Dean for Graduate Education, formerly the Graduate Students Office, was renamed effective the same day.

• The position of Vice President for External Affairs, which remains unfilled pending an organizational review, has been removed from the organization chart and reporting list.

Name and Reporting Changes

• The MIT News Office, which had reported to the Vice President for External Affairs as the Office of External Communications and Office of Internal News/Tech Talk, now reports provisionally to the Vice President for Institute Affairs.
