It has been determined based on our review of the NIH training grants that we no longer will charge the 8% F&A to stipends. This change will be retroactive to July 1,2001, and your training grants will receive a credit for the appropriate amount effective this date. For all non-compete, new and competitive renewal proposals your calculation for the F&A should not include the stipend in the applicable F&A base.
