NCURA National Office

Welcome to the Region I NCURA website representing the New England states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Formed in the early 1970’s, Region I is one of seven regional NCURA organizations each of which is mandated to operate in a manner consistent with the Articles of Incorporation and By Laws of the National Council of University Research Administrators. The National Council of University Research Administrators serves its members and advances the field of research administration through professional development, the sharing of knowledge and by fostering community.

NCURA Region I hosts quarterly Research Administrators Discussion Group (RADG) meetings in the Boston area during the academic year featuring a variety of speakers from federal and non-federal funding agencies, universities and research institutions. The Region I Annual Spring Meeting offers members an extended program of agency updates, information on grant preparation and monitoring, Industry/University relationships, compliance, conflict of interest and professional introspection and development.
