| NCURA Region I |
It is an honor to be considered for the position of the “Regionally-Elected Member of the Board of Directors” and it would be my privilege to serve. I would strive to represent the membership to the best of my abilities and to provide the time and energy necessary to perform the duties of the Regionally-Elected Member of the Board of Directors.
As many of you are aware, Region 1 is extremely active. For example:
5 RADG meetings a year Region 1 Spring Annual Meeting Fundamentals in Research Administration, two times a year Advanced Research Administration Issues, two times a year
We need to assure that our voices are heard at the national level and that they are committed to provide the resources to meet our ambitious goals.
Over the years I have gained experience volunteering and serving Region I in the capacity of moderator, panelist, advisory board member, and Region I Chair. I believe I understand Region I concerns. I would welcome the challenge and opportunity to bring the “Region 1” message to the national level. Our objectives and goals can be achieved.
NCURA is an exceptional organization and I would welcome the opportunity to serve the membership as your Regionally Elected Board Member”. I promise to work hard to achieve our goals and I look forward to the challenge.
