Coeus Proposal Approval Re-Routing

The Dean’s Offices in the School of Architecture and Planning, School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, School of Engineering ,School of Science, Sloan School of Management,  and the Vice President for Research have agreed that they do not need to see these proposals again unless there has been a change in cost share, under recovery, space needs, or significant changes to the scope of work or budget.  Therefore, we are implementing a change for Coeus proposals through these units which allows for an automatic bypass of these deans’ offices.  The new process will be as follows:

We have added a new Yes/No question (#33), which asks:

“If you are re-routing this proposal, have you made any changes to the cost sharing, underrecovery or space needs for this proposal or made any significant changes to the budget or scope of work?”

-         “N/A” is appropriate for all initial routings, and will cause the proposal to route under the current practice (different schools have different business rules)

-         “Yes” will cause the proposal to route through the cognizant Dean’s \Office

-         “No” will cause the proposal to route directly to OSP
