Nordyne.(HVAC Systems & Components: United they Stand)

Nordyne reports that of the 40 to 50 million compressors manufactured annually for the air conditioning industry worldwide, only 10 million are scroll and/or reciprocating compressors. Rotary compressors are currently being developed for four- and five-ton units, which has led to a joint agreement between Nordyne and Panasonic to develop a 23 SEER compressor.
