Accommodations in the College of the Atlantic area:

On Campus:

The dorm accommodations at the College of the Atlantic are individual rooms except for people with accompanying persons. The buildings are described below.

 The Blair/Tyson House

Blair/Tyson HouseConsisting of five 8-resident sections and one 16-resident section, Blair/Tyson is a series of townhouses with a vaguely ski-lodge feel that share common external walls. Each section has a kitchen/common room and exists as a smaller unit within the larger Blair/Tyson community. Blair/Tyson has a lovely courtyard and is a hub of activity, close to the dining hall, classes, the library, a bike storage shed and parking. Recently given a face-lift with new color schemes and common room furniture, Blair/Tyson is our liveliest residential setting. Blair/Tyson is not usually designated as substance-free.

Davis Residence Village

David Residence VillageThe college's newest and "greenest" housing complex. The houses in the village are heated by our biomass pellet boiler system and are incredibly energy efficient. While individual houses have their own community, residents of the village have the advantage of being part of the larger communities of Seafox and Deering Common (the new campus center). All six houses have a living room, kitchen, and dining area on the ground floor, replete with vibrant color schemes and comfy furniture. Upstairs, two floors house eight residents in large student rooms with communal bathrooms boasting composting toilets.
