Flow and IT Support Committee Chair – Xian Du
Set up efficient communication and
─ Maintain an up-to-date internet site of resources and
─ Establish consistency and continuity in the mission,
organization, and conduct of the PDA
Our committee has daily management
work as follows. We have duties to manage the Facebook
groups, and PDA-related mailing
lists including pda-www, pda-officers,
pda-fpac, and pda-all. We manage
the MIT-PDA website. We post the
updated information for MIT-postdocs, including MIT-postdoc activities, postdoc
career development and new job positions, and resources for MIT-postdocs. We also need to maintain the web page for each PDA committee. We update postdoc-related
events in the PDA events calendar,
and inform postdocs upcoming
events in time.
In addition, we are renovating the PDA website gradually. The renovation includes the
web design, and improvement of content management. The new construction of the
website will facilitate the news and events updating dynamically. The new web
structure shall let the MIT-postdocs acquire
information efficiently and sufficiently.
We look for members to construct the
PDA website, and manage the web
content. Your assistant will help MIT postdocs stay
in a more convenient virtual environment.
