MIT is easily accessible by T on the Red Line-Kendall/MIT stop. In general, it is most convenient to live in Cambridge or Somerville within walking or biking distance of Red Line stops. Central, Harvard, Porter and Davis Squares are good places to begin a housing search. Boston also offers a range of housing options, though it can be more costly than Cambridge and Somerville.
