Europe

On my most recent trip to Europe in the summer of 1998, I started in Amsterdam and continued on to Switzerland. After a quick stop in Milan, I entered France where I spent the next ten days. I visited the Riviera, Avignon, Burgundy, and of course Paris. From there, I took the Eurostar train through the Chunnel to London.

Amsterdam, Holland

Amsterdam is an interesting city to say the least. It is a big city, yet it retains a certain quaintness because of the lack of tall buildings and the beautiful canal system.

Switzerland

Switzerland is a beautiful country. I stayed with my friends Tracy and Roman Camenisch who live near Zurich, and got to see a good bit of the northeastern part of the country including Appenzel and St. Gallen. However, my favorite part has to the Alps of the Bernese Oberland.

Milan, Italy

I had a three hour layover in Milan as I was changing trains. I took advantage and explored the nearby area.

France

France is one of my favorite countries. The language is so beautiful and the food is so good! I visited Nice, Cannes, and Antibes on the Riviera, Avignon in Provence, Dijon in Burgundy, and of course Paris.

England

I've been to London a few times, visiting my friends Paul and Coleen who live in Willesden Green in north London.
