I have made some ort. So far I have constrained my expression to 1024 by 768 wallpaper-type and 100x100 (or less) monochrome Athena login screen icon-type ort.

Note on file formats: jpg files will generally be a lot smaller. Most of the time the difference is not noticeable between them and the pngs. However, jpg is a lossy format and png is not. If I want to continue working on these works of ort, I would use pngs; png was the format I saved in to begin with, and I used ImageMagick to convert those to jpgs. If I don't provide a jpg, it's because the quality suffers too much from the lossiness.

What do I mean with my classifications?

Hand-drawn

But not hand-quartered.

Wallpapers

No obligation to print them out and put them on your wall.

Void-Lit [abstract] png (909k) / jpg (100k) 2004-07-20 Spiraling, dark and recursive. Used Paint Shop Pro. Started from scratch with some spiraly doodles, applied some filters, added some wavy doodles, and applied more filters.
Uncircled [abstract] png (764k) 2004-07-21 A mosaic of colors, with a hint at some underlying but indeterminate pattern. Used Paint Shop Pro. Started from scratch with some colored circles and applied some filters. This time, actually used some filters only on certain regions instead of the entire image.
Blue Scalar [abstract] png (801k) / jpg (269k) 2004-07-23 Blue and looks vaguely like overlapping scales (yes, the name is misleading). It tiles nicely. Used the GIMP. Started from scratch with some W-shaped doodles and applied some filters.
Green Sky Sunrise [photographic] png (668k) / jpg (37k) 2004-07-26 The top of the Green Building and the sky, both in colors you've never seen them in before (yes, the name is misleading), or alternatively, a false-color composite of the sky. Used the GIMP. Started with three portions of photographs of the sky at sunrise seen from the roof of Random, combined with depth merge, and applied some filters.
Ghostly Shadow [sketched] jpg (509k) 2004-11-16 A strange landscape that resembles my mental images of hellrides in Roger Zelazny's Amber series. Used the GIMP. Started with Brook No Brook (see above) and applied some color map filters.
Art of Plate [photographic] jpg (237k) 2005-03-28 An artistic-looking plate and its neighbors. Wait a minute... Used the GIMP. Started with a photograph of an artistic-looking plate and its neighbors and applied various color filters in conjunction with intelligent scissors.

Icons

No need to venerate them, at least for now.
