IMPORTANT NOTE:
The visa application process remains the same as before september 11th, yet the waiting times have increased, so you should plan your application process accordingly. Specifically, based on a limited survey of visa applications in 2003, the average waiting time for first-time female applicants has been around 1 month and for male applicants around 2 month. These average waiting times increase to 3 and 4 month for those already in the U.S. Note that these are approximate "average" waiting time and PSA has no knowledge of reliability of this data for future use.
