Design Work yoyo project
The yoyo was designed as the final project for a class called "Design and Manufacturing II." The yoyo was designed with a beach theme in mind, and each of the eight injection-molded parts were designed in MasterCAM, SolidWorks, or ProE, and molds were then designed and CNC machined. I worked with a team of seven other students to complete fifty yoyos for the project. The yoyo also includes one thermoformed part -- the clear plastic bubble through which the yoyo disk and small injection-molded pieces can be viewed.
