Seek and Geek
My Seek and Geek for this week is a product that I received recently as a gift for making a large purchase from Adafruit. It's called a PCB ruler, and in addition to being a nice little 6"/15cm ruler, it is also filled with lots of useful PCB information like line-widths, drill sizes, circuit symbols and polarities, and perhaps most usefully, lots of pad sizes for common chip packages, both passive and active. It is super useful to have something like this around when laying out a PCB or looking at the available packages for a particular part, since it's really difficult to accurately picture something like how much different a 0.4 mm pitch part is from a 0.5 mm part.
