Graduate Student Orientation:
Fall 2002
Welcome to MIT! We are pleased to welcome incoming graduate students into our community and enthusiastic about the beginning of a new term. A tentative schedule is listed below as a guide to the start of the Fall Term, 2002. Please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for answers to common questions, and note the following important items:

Students should be on campus at least one week before classes begin on September 4th.

If housing needs to be sought, students should arrive on campus at least two weeks prior to the start of classes.

International Graduate Events are available almost daily from August 14th - September 3rd. Their schedule of events will be linked here when posted.

Locations and times of departmental events will be updated as the summer progresses.
