Abstract:
Motivated by the experiments on κ-ET organic insulators/superconductors, I would describe the results of a variational study on the ring-exchange spin Hamiltonian on triangular lattice. The interesting result is that an orientational symmetry breaking spin-liquid state is energetically favorable and that it explains many of the experiments.
