Non-Fermi Liquid behaviour in bilayer graphene

Abstract: I investigate the effect of Coulomb interactions in bilayer graphene within a perturbative RG framework. In a previous talk, I argued that inter-electron interactions induce a logarithmic instability to a gapped excitonic state. Here, I show that Coulomb interactions produce significant departures from Fermi-liquid behaviour at temperatures much higher than the critical temperature for onset of the excitonic instability. I discuss probable experimental signatures of Coulomb interactions.
