FRANK E. TAYLOR, Senior
Research Scientist

Research Interests
Dr. Taylor's research interests are in precision tests of the electro-weak
sector of the standard model, focusing on the experimental exploration
of the nature of electro-weak symmetry breaking, CP violation, and
physics beyond the standard model. He has been a collaborator on
the SLD Experiment at the linear collider at SLAC nearly since its
inception; more recently, he has joined the BaBar Collaboration
at PEP II at SLAC, which will explore the nature of CP violations
in the b-quark sector.
In addition, Dr. Taylor has carried his physics interests to the
highest energy frontier where he is a collaborator on the ATLAS
Detector at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. On ATLAS, he's deeply
involved in the design and construction the endcap muon system.
