MIT Women in Physics -- EVENTS
Mimi Duff
I joined Goldman Sachs in 1993 and currently work with Hayley as a U.S.
Government Strategist, focusing on relative value analysis in the US
Treasury bonds and related markets. Like Hayley, my job involves creating
tools for identifying trade opportunities (using spreadsheets, the web &
other programming) and using those tools to identify trade opportunities
that I both write about in a weekly publication and market direclty to
clients. I also act as a liaison to the systems development group. Prior
to my current assignment, I managed the firm's Global Bond Indexes and was
involved with domestic asset allocation. Prior to joining the US
government strategies group, I worked as a programmer analyst in the
information technology group, focusing on unix gui development and
database programming.
I have an undergraduate degree in Operations Research and Industrial
Engineering from Cornell University ('93) and am currently working on a
Master's degree in the Mathematics of Finance at Columbia University on a
part-time basis.
