Women in Physics Mentoring Program Rules
- Mentors should meet with their mentee(s) approximately once per month.
Some flexibility is allowed, but on average the certificates or
reimbursement should not be used more often than once per month (no more
than 8 times for the academic year). At least initially, the grad student
should take the initiative to set up the meetings. The program will run
through May 2006.
- If a mentor chooses to use her own form of payment and get reimbursed, a
valid receipt and the completed form must be mailed to Gil Cordova in the Physics
Fiscal Office (room 4-304B). The
mentor will be reimbursed up to $15.00 for a meeting with one
student or up to $30.00 for a meeting with two students. Any cost
above this will not be reimbursed.
