INAA is very efficient and very useful especially in determining the trace impurities; like determination of trace impurities in solid materials such as:

1)Sorbents for water filters
2)High purity graphites for nuclear reactors
3)High purity silicon powders for the use in the preparation of In-House standards in Analytical Laboratories

Table 1 below provides some observed sensitivities and minimum detection limits as determined in the INAA Lab for the above projects.
