- MSI Information
- MSI was supplied by Microsoft on the installation CD. It asks for a license key the first time it is run after it is deployed via Group Policy. It then holds the User information entered the first time as the registered owner, but works within all user accounts without issue.
- Configuration Issues
- To allow the program to install w/o intervention with the appropriate license key you can import a registry file containing the key or include the change within the MSI.
- If you need a key to be made or help adding the appropriate registry keys for your installation, contact Chad Dupuis, dupuis@mit.edu.
- Known Bugs
- There is a known bug that comes up when installing various office products with an existing installation of Lotus Notes. We have not noticed this error in our environment. You can find more information about the bug here - http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=228668.
