Past Project: Completed a
sponsored leave of absence from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL)
working at MIT developing advanced machine tools for fabricating targets for
the National Ignition Facility (NIF).
Designed, built, and tested two new rotary fast tool servos that advance the
state-of-the-art in electromechanical systems having high bandwidth and
precise motion control.
