Wailord Format

tl;dr: Triple Battle, 6 Wailords, Metronome only

Why this?

Metronome randomly selects almost any move available in the game. It's mindless fun with RNG (random number generation), perfect for crazy situations like untimely Explosion or Memento. Wailord were chosen because they are cute and make good pillows.

Tournament Format

We will play on our Pokémon Showdown server, an online battle simulator. You do not have to obtain the game or the PKMN. We highly recommend a laptop, though it sometimes works on mobile and tablets.

We will play a Round Robin format (everyone plays each other once.) The software can automatch or we can do it manually on a whiteboard.

There is usually a Wailord-related prize for winning the Wailord Format tournament at MITPL events.

Level: 100 maximum
Item: any
Ability: Water Veil, Oblivious, or Pressure
Moves: Metronome (only once), 3 blanks
EVs: game limit (252 or 254)
Gender, Nature, Happiness, IVs,shiny: any
