Jeremy Ferwerda is a PhD candidate who studies immigration, decentralization, and conflict, with a regional focus on Europe. Previously, he graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University with degrees in Biological Science and History and worked as a financial analyst at the hedge fund D.E.Shaw & Co. His work is forthcoming in Electoral Studies and the American Political Science Review.
