Learn about the new Eni-MIT Solar Frontiers Center and its transformative research in solar energy, and tour the center’s laboratories with senior MIT faculty and researchers. The event is hosted by MIT President Susan Hockfield and Paolo Scaroni, Chief Executive Officer of Eni SpA

In 2007, Eni SpA and MIT entered into a unique partnership to help transform global energy systems through research in advanced solar energy technologies. This effort represents the largest single focus of the MIT Energy Initiative’s research portfolio. The Eni-MIT Solar Frontiers Center represents a major milestone in this effort. Its new laboratory facility is designed to help achieve the goal of a sustainable energy future through the development of scalable and affordable renewable energy technologies.
