Eve Sullivan named the Arminta Jacobson Parenting Education Professional of the Year

Eve Sullivan, senior editorial assistant in MIT’s Laboratory for Nuclear Science and founder of Parents Forum, was recently presented with the 2011 Arminta Jacobson Parenting Education Professional of the Year award on March 18.

The award is presented annually to the person that best meets the standards of service to the profession of parent education established by the Texas Association of Parent Educators (TAPE). Additional information about the Texas Association for Parent Education can be found online at http://www.coe.unt.edu/cpe/tape.

The award was created in 2009 in honor of Arminta Jacobson, founder and director of the Center for Parent Education at the University of North Texas in Denton.

Sullivan is also the author of Where the Heart Listens, a handbook for parents and their allies in a global society, which was recently awarded the Parent Tested Parent Approved PTPA Seal of Approval.
