Advanced Study Program

“The Advanced Study Program enabled me to associate the ever-changing IT environment with solutions for our customers,” said a Department of Defense Deputy Division Chief.

Change Your World in an MIT Classroom

What can the MIT Professional Education - Advanced Study Program do for you? Place you in an MIT classroom to learn from preeminent faculty. Engage you in a dynamic learning environment that addresses societal and industry issues. Guide you through critical knowledge about engineering, science, social science, and management fields. Involve you in the forefront of emerging technologies, theories, and practices. Connect you to a community of people committed to advancing new knowledge and leading change in the world.

Advanced Study Program fellows, usually in their 20s to 40s or more, come primarily from engineering, but also from business, finance, economics, mathematics, and other sciences. About one-third have earned an advanced degree. Others expect to apply their MIT studies during future graduate programs or to advance their position in their company.
