Advanced Study Program
The Advanced Study Program, a non-matriculating, non-degree program, is open to both individuals and MIT employees who meet these requirements:
- An undergraduate degree.
- Minimum three years’ work experience OR currently enrolled in graduate degree program elsewhere.
- The ability to thrive in a rigorous academic environment.
Admitted students who achieve less than a B- grade during their studies with ASP risk jeopardizing their chances to be readmitted to the program. Students who do not receive a passing grade in a class will not be readmitted.
Application and All Supporting Materials Deadlines
Deadline for Fall 2015 is May 1st, 2015 for both international and domestic applicants.
Note: Spring semesters start in February and fall semesters start in September.
The admissions committee reviews applications and receives departmental approval usually within six to eight weeks of the deadline.
